This role involves operating the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality and preparing the scan room and equipment appropriately. The technologist will position patients, coils, and equipment as required, while maintaining communication with patients throughout the scanning procedures. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI studies following established protocols. Operate the MRI scanner to produce high-quality images. Prepare the scan room and equipment for procedures. Position patients, coils, and equipment as necessary. Maintain clear communication with patients during scanning. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) Non-Degree Program: Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program (Required) Experience: 1 Year experience as a Radiology Technologist (Required) 1 Year experience in CT or MRI (Preferred) Licenses/Certifications: RT(R) - Registered Technologist (Radiology) (Required) RT(MR) - Registered Technologist (MRI) (Required) BLS - Basic Life Support (Required) Work Schedule: This position requires availability for every other weekend, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
