Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Databricks Architect/Engineer to lead the design andimplementation of scalable healthcare data solutions. This role focuses on integratingFHIR-based data, EPIC EHR systems, and advanced analytics within the DatabricksLakehouse platform (Azure, AWS) to drive clinical insights and operational efficiency Key Responsibilities: Architectand implement

data pipelines

using Databricks, Delta Lake, andSpark for healthcare datasets.

Designsolutions for

FHIR bundle ingestion

, flattening, and transformationfor real-time analytics.

IntegrateEPIC data sources (Clarity, Caboodle, Bridges, APIs) into unified datamodels.

Developand optimize

interoperability frameworks

using HL7, FHIR, CCD/CCDA,and IHE profiles.

Collaboratewith clinical and technical teams to align data architecture with patientcare goals.

Ensurecompliance with

HIPAA

,

HITECH

, and other healthcare dataprivacy regulations.

Support

AI/ML initiatives

for predictive analytics and population healthmanagement.

Required Skills/Qualifications: 7+years in healthcare IT, with strong experience in

Databricks

and

Azure

.

Deepknowledge of

FHIR

,

HL7

, and

EPIC EHR systems

(Caboodle, Clarity, etc.).

Proficiencyin

SQL

Python

, and

Spark

.

Experiencewith

data lake architecture

Delta Live Tables
