Manage Embedded Software Team deliverables
Work with stakeholders to define scope and requirements Define and manage schedule for project team Define and create Jira tickets for embedded software activities and deliverables Track delivery of Jira tickets to completion Remove roadblocks to enable Engineers to focus on SW development
Manage Hardware Dependencies
Collaborate and align with hardware team on schedule and deliverables Ensure dependencies are captured in project plan and are managed during the project life cycle
Cross-functional Collaboration with Other Software Teams
Ensure that embedded software schedule is aligned with the overall SW organization delivery plan Work with other SW TPMs on cross-functional dependencies
Risk and Issue Management
Collaborate with stakeholders to define, assess, mitigate, and manage risks Define issues and drive path to resolution
Monitoring and Reporting
Track overall project progress towards milestones Report status on a regular basis to program
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant work experience as a software technical program manager in the automotive space (preferably with a degree in computer science, engineering, or related field) Required: Experience managing Software Teams delivering embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, Real-time Operating System (RTOS) Required: Hands-on experience with ECU Software architecture, and hardware & software integration Required: Managing projects using Agile methodology Required: Jira experience Not required but a plus: Experience working with contract manufacturers on product development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Estimated Min Rate : $60.00 Estimated Max Rate : $90.00 What's In It for You?
