POSITION OVERVIEW: The Application Development & Integration Services (ADIS) team provides enterprise solutions for the UC San Diego community. We strive to consistently deliver quality and reliable services that help our campus achieve its administrative goals. Our combined technical resources allow us to build, integrate, host, and deliver enterprise services for both our campus and collaboratively with other campuses within the UC system. Additionally, the team offers custom integration and application development services, business analysis services and data management services for a variety of departments on the campus. This senior role will design, develop, and support large-scale projects of broad scope and complexity, with a strong focus on the .NET Core and .NET Framework. Responsibilities: Design and implement databases, user interfaces, and integration to other systems/applications.

Collaborates with stakeholders, process owners and ITS colleagues to define and execute strategically-aligned project plans.

Work with service owners, subject matter experts and customers; create system design documents and technical specifications from requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor\'s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

Advanced knowledge of frameworks, platforms and tools including: NET Core, NET Framework, NHibernate, IIS, SSIS, and MS SQL Server.

Advanced knowledge of secure software development.

Highly advanced skills associated with software specification, design, modification, implementation and deployment of large-scale scope.

Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs. Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans.

Advanced experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.

Advanced experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Employee must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Employee must be available to travel as required.

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $97,200 - $182,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $46.55 - $87.16 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
