Overview
Senior Product Manager-Technical, Aerospace Edge Solutions. This role owns and delivers new products and features for the Aerospace industry within AWS Aerospace Edge Solutions (AES), connecting customer-owned edge hardware to the cloud and helping customers build ground segment architectures in the cloud, control satellites, process data, and scale operations. You will collaborate with customers, engineering teams, the AWS field, and other stakeholders to define offerings, bring services to customers (including naming, pricing, and communications), and influence leadership on the service roadmap and future portfolio additions. Key responsibilities include leading the product toward a long-term vision, driving the AWS Working Backwards process for the service, and owning collaboration across teams to ensure successful launches and ongoing enhancements. This role requires judgment, negotiation, influence, analytical skills, technical aptitude, and leadership across a diverse set of stakeholders. The position requires maintaining an active TS/SCI security clearance, and after start, obtaining and maintaining an active TS/SCI with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency AWS works with. Key responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of customers and their journey to Commercial and Government clouds. Become a Voice of the Customer to the Aerospace Edge Solutions team and the Secure Connection Services organization. Own the AWS Working Backwards process for the service, including definition, pricing, naming, and launch. Work closely with three engineering teams to provide technical recommendations on designs. Own the long-term vision for the service and communicate that vision to senior leaders. About the team and environment

5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager 3+ years of technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or related) Experience taking a product from conception/definition through engineering design and to market Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above Preferred Qualifications
