Job Summary
Power BI Developer
to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, experience building robust Power BI reports and dataflows, and a solid understanding of supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or design engineering domains. This role requires a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights with a focus on accuracy and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, apps, and dataflows to support business decision-making. Write and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval from various sources. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations. Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of reported data. Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues related to data models, queries, and dashboards. Work closely with cross-functional teams in supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or design engineering to understand data needs and business processes. Document data models, dataflows, and reporting standards to ensure maintainability and scalability. Required Qualifications
Proven experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards, dataflows, and published apps. Strong proficiency in SQL, including query tuning and performance optimization. Excellent data validation and attention to detail skills. Familiarity with business processes and terminology in supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, or design engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DAX and Power Query (M). Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure SQL, Synapse, or Snowflake. Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices for BI. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
