Overview Sr. Manager, Product Manager - Technical will be responsible for owning the technical roadmap for key technology initiatives across Amazon hiring. This includes the development of internal and candidate facing technologies and experience that ensure a safe and effective way to source, match, evaluate and hire the next generation of Amazonians. This role works with business stakeholders to align technology solutions to support the organization's goals to continually improve the quality of hires while minimizing operational cost and time to fill critical roles. You will work on state-of-the-art agentic AI frameworks, research, advanced software tools, new AI systems, and machine learning algorithms to solve complex hiring challenges. Leveraging Amazon's in-house tech stack built on AWS, you will have the autonomy and flexibility to bring innovative solutions to life.

Responsibilities

Architecting interconnected multi-agent systems using latest AI frameworks

Integrating machine learning and GenAI-based solutions where they are game-changers

Building, leading and influencing high-functional product management teams

Defining product strategy that achieves strong customer value and business outcomes

Working with developers and architects to build scalable and highly reliable systems

Using UX, product, and business knowledge to inform decisions and communicate effectively with and influence internal teams

Problem solving using analytical skills and a data-validated, hypothesis-driven, experiment-tested decision process

Hire and develop the best with empathy, while ensuring the highest standards

A day in the life Engage with customers and partners to define a product vision, write PRFAQ documents, dive into the technical details of agentic AI and LLM engineering frameworks, and make trade-offs to deliver the highest customer value with a bias for action. Collaborate with internal partners (science and engineering) and external partners (operations, security, etc.) to launch products.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

5+ years of team management experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience with end to end product delivery

Preferred Qualifications

Experience engaging and influencing senior executives

Experience with Agentic AI frameworks like Crew AI, AutoGen, LangGraph, OpenAI SDK or other similar frameworks

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
