Overview
Our mid-size Orlando-based law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Associate to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial matters. This role involves managing a diverse caseload that includes construction litigation, landlord-tenant disputes (commercial and residential), bankruptcy litigation, contract disputes, etc. The associate will be responsible for handling cases from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations and court hearings, and developing litigation strategies. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution, with emphasis on commercial matters. Perform legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and develop litigation strategies. Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations and court hearings. Handle matters including construction litigation, landlord-tenant disputes (commercial and residential), bankruptcy litigation, and contract disputes. Qualifications
