We are looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join our Customer Experience application development team and contribute to the next growth phase. You will design and build systems and features from the ground up, play a big role in defining the product direction, and mentor other engineers. The ideal candidate will have a product-oriented mindset with a passion for technology and customer satisfaction, and will ensure software development efforts align with customer needs to support growth and profitability. You will help build an end-to-end mobility platform that supports high throughput locations, aviation, fleet management, and other use cases impacting millions of people. Design, implement, and maintain the frontend systems that make up the Metropolis parking and mobility platform. Collaborate with product managers and designers to model and understand real-world problems in our UX. Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including ideation and requirement identification. Lead technical discussions, evaluate new techniques, and ensure the platform evolves and improves. Leverage best practices in automation testing and deployment to enable rapid iteration and feature launches. Foster a culture where bugs in production are opportunities to improve the platform. Mentor junior engineers to ensure appropriate use of UI frameworks and component libraries. What we're looking for
MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience; strong fundamentals in computer science. 6+ years of software engineering experience; advanced knowledge of React and TypeScript. Proven track record delivering large-scale software products in high-volume consumer-facing applications. Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC. Deep understanding of Agile processes supporting the software development lifecycle, including TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and related build/test/deploy processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly. Local to Santa Monica (Los Angeles), New York City, or Seattle areas. Nice to have
Advanced knowledge of React and TypeScript. Experience in innovative, high-growth environments. Our Stack
