We are seeking an experienced
Senior Appian Developer
to design, develop, and implement end-to-end Appian BPM solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Appian development skills (beyond drag-and-drop), deep understanding of Appian infrastructure (including KDB engines, scaling, and deployment), and a proven track record of delivering
3+ full lifecycle Appian implementations . This role requires a mix of
architecture, coding, and solution design . Key Responsibilities
Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Appian applications. Write
complex Appian SAIL code
and develop reusable components. Build and optimize Appian objects (Sites, Records, Reports, Tasks, Integrations, etc.). Provide technical oversight on requirements, design reviews, and operational readiness. Partner with architecture/development teams on strategic and tactical planning. Develop Appian plug-ins, connected systems, and UI components. Deliver solutions in
Agile environments
with CI/CD integration. Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices. Required Skills & Experience
Appian Development:
4–5+ years hands-on with Appian 20x/21x/22x (must list versions in resume). End-to-End Implementations:
3+ full lifecycle (design, develop, deploy, package). SAIL Development:
Ability to write complex SAIL code. Appian Objects Expertise:
Sites, Records, Reports, Process Models, Integrations, Web APIs, Constants, Rules, CDTs, Groups, etc. Frameworks & BPM Concepts:
Strong understanding of Appian BPM methodologies. Appian Infrastructure:
Knowledge of KDB engines, vertical/horizontal scaling. Integration & Middleware:
J2EE Design Patterns, Servlets, JDBC, JMS, Spring Security, Hibernate. Plug-in Development:
Smart Services, Connected Systems, UI Plug-ins (preferred). RPA/AI:
Exposure to intelligent automation tools (a plus). Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Appian certifications are strongly preferred. Seniority level
