The Functional / Solution Management Specialist is the field-facing support that assists with critical path success and mitigates site-level issues. Serves as the lead for field-facing pre-deployment analyses and assessments and ensure coordination with EHRM IO work streams. Provides program management accountability and project ownership; with responsibility for workplan development, data analytics, team task assignment and execution. Additionally, facilitates the assessment, alignment, and optimization of clinical/functional areas to meet EHRM-IO pre-deployment requirements. Primary POC for the coordination of functional workflow configuration projects and efforts. Align clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders across the organization in support of the project. Will liaison between the Wave/VISN sites, and outside entities (EHRM IO, VHA, OHT, Oracle Health) as needed to support open communication channels. Utilize project and program management methodology to drive delivery within timeline by developing and overseeing process to identify, manage and report progress, issues, and risks to project scope, quality, and timelines. Identifies and escalates gaps and unresolved issues/critical risks that will affect achievement to project success. Collaborates with teams and individuals to develop and propose solutions for government leads to implement for mitigation. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree (15 total years of relevant professional experience). Clearance
Ability to obtain a Dept. of VA Public Trust Location
Remote, with ability to travel up to 70% to various sites and locations as needed. Responsibilities

Liaise between sites, government agencies, and external entities such as OHT, Oracle Health, and VA. Utilize project management methodologies to track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues affecting timelines and deliverables. Develop and implement solutions collaboratively to address gaps and mitigate critical risks. Required Skills
5+ years of professional experience in healthcare or clinical software environments. Proven ability to independently design and develop healthcare-related software enhancements or products. Expertise in systems integration, healthcare semantics, and informatics across multiple platforms. Strong project management skills with experience in developing workplans, managing timelines, and reporting progress. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and clinical teams. Preferred Skills/Experience
Previous experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Experience working within the VA healthcare system. Familiarity with healthcare standards, workflow analysis, and clinical operations. Seniority level
