Azure Infrastructure Architect
to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage secure, reliable, and cost-efficient Microsoft Azure environments for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in cloud infrastructure, networking, and hybrid architecture, with hands-on experience in both Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure architecture for multi-phase migration and modernization projects. Design and implement vNet peering, subnets, and gateways to support seamless hybrid integration between on-premises systems and Azure workloads. Recommend and deploy key Azure services, including SQL Managed Instance, App Services, Blob Storage, Monitoring, and Security tools. Implementation & Migration
Lead and execute the migration and modernization of applications and databases to Azure using rehost, replatform, or hybrid strategies. Configure and manage hybrid identity and authentication solutions. Leverage Reserved Instances and Azure Hybrid Benefits to optimize cloud cost-efficiency. Operations & Security
Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure-native tools. Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices, particularly around identity, networking, and data protection. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hybrid cloud infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance. Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with developers, application owners, and security teams to ensure smooth migrations and seamless operations. Provide regular reports on infrastructure health, performance, and risks. Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer to build team capability. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure. Expertise in Azure IaaS (VMs, networking, storage) and PaaS (SQL Managed Instance, App Services, Blob Storage, Monitor, Security Center). Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, TLS, gateways, DNS), as well as hybrid identity integration (Azure AD, directory services). Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI. Proven experience in cloud migration projects (rehost, replatform, hybrid). Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, ISO 27001. Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. Experience leading enterprise-scale, multi-phase cloud migration initiatives.
