An Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact an organization's operations and objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Job Duties/Responsibilities
Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and prioritize organizational risks, including financial, operational, and compliance risks. Policy Development: Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor risk exposures and report findings to senior management, advising on risk mitigation strategies and controls. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, staying informed about emerging risks and regulatory changes. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to address risk issues and foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management practices and conduct regular risk assessments and audits. Evaluates and provides recommendations regarding selection of policies, including but not limited to: Property, Casualty, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Directors and Officers, and Cyber-risk policies. Coordinates and submits, as necessary, the gathering of insurance policy renewal data. Partners with all departments regarding incident reports and claims or losses. Manages the workers’ compensation and incident reporting program and processes, assesses, and reports claims to carriers as appropriate. Perform all other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Demonstrated excellence in working with peer teams across organizations. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and banking software programs and platforms. Education And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in risk management, finance, business or related field. Five (5) years’ experience. Proven experience in risk management or a similar role, with a solid understanding of industry best practices. Physical Demands And Work Environment
