Chicago Key Responsibilities: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.). Research target companies and decision-makers to personalize outreach and improve engagement success. Generate a steady pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team by initiating meaningful conversations with prospects. Schedule discovery calls or product demos for Account Executives by understanding and aligning with prospect needs. Follow up with inbound leads promptly and maintain consistent communication to nurture interest. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align on messaging, campaigns, and lead qualification criteria. Track and analyze outreach performance to improve conversion rates and refine prospecting strategies. Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively position the companys value. Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback from prospects to help refine sales and marketing efforts. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional presence. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, especially over phone, email, and video calls. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to handle rejection and keep a positive attitude. Basic understanding of sales processes and lead qualification techniques. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and productivity software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office). Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to learn and grow within a sales organization. Prior experience in a customer-facing, sales, or prospecting role is a plus, but not always required for entry-level positions.
