Production Scheduler at Caerus Corporation Position Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to manage and optimize the companys production schedule. The role ensures alignment of customer needs, demand forecasts, and labor capacity while collaborating across departments to ensure efficient operations. This position is a critical contributor to meeting on-time delivery goals and maintaining production efficiency. Duties And Responsibilities Develop and manage the companys production schedule, ensuring alignment with customer demands, labor capacity, and material availability. Collaborate with management to anticipate and plan labor requirements. Ensure material availability and capacity availability prior to releasing production orders to operations. Work with the supply chain team to determine order lead times and communicate estimated production completion dates to customer-facing staff. Lead cross-functional scheduling meetings to review status and address constraints. Collaborate with production supervisors to prepare and execute daily schedules. Partner with maintenance technicians to confirm production cells are ready and functional. Support efforts to maintain optimal stocking levels of finished goods and promote production efficiency through larger batch sizes and minimized changeovers. Track and optimize core performance metrics, including production schedule attainment, on-time delivery, and checkpoint execution. Revise and update production schedules to accommodate new information and priorities while minimizing workflow disruption. Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting throughput and production performance metrics.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, technical or related field. 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling or a related industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Comfortable working in ambiguous situations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year. Benefits: Health, dental, vision, basic life, and AD&D insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Paid time off (PTO) and holidays
