Cloud Security Engineer
to lead the design, implementation, and management of secure cloud environments across Azure. This role involves working with cutting-edge security tools and technologies to protect cloud-native applications, workloads, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, scripting, and infrastructure as code, along with a passion for mentoring and driving strategic security initiatives. Responsibilities
Develop and implement cloud security strategies across Azure and AWS platforms. Manage threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response processes. Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for cloud environments. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance and best practices. Design and deploy secure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation, JSON). Ensure regulatory compliance with industry standards and frameworks. Provide mentorship and training to team members and stakeholders. Lead and manage cloud security projects from planning to execution. Evaluate and recommend security tools and vendors (CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP). Collaborate with development teams to secure CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience securing public cloud environments (Azure). Hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems. Familiarity with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling. Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, BASH. Strong understanding of cloud-native security tools and platforms (CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP). Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Preferred Certifications
Cloud Certifications : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Associate Cybersecurity Certifications : CompTIA Security+, CASP+ Additional information
