IAM Security Engineer - SailPoint Compensation:
$140,000 - $175,000 Glocomms are partnered with a leading financial services firm in the search for a SailPoint Engineer to join the IAM team which is responsible for managing access control and supporting programs that ensure secure and efficient identity governance. Key applications include SailPoint IdentityIQ, Ping (ForgeRock) Identity Suite, Duo MFA, and Entra ID. In this role you will be part of a focused team responsible for the development, engineering, maintenance, and support of the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform. This role also involves providing general support for other IAM tools and collaborating with IT, Application Development, Security Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams. Key Responsibilities: Administer, engineer, and develop multiple SailPoint IdentityIQ instances. Design and implement custom integrations, workflows, and rules between SailPoint and connected systems. Monitor and resolve issues within SailPoint workflows and integrations. Support upgrades and lifecycle management of SailPoint environments. Provide support for additional IAM tools as needed (training provided). Contribute to the planning, implementation, and enforcement of IAM policies and controls. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting production environments. Prepare documentation including architecture diagrams and solution designs. Assist with compliance activities such as control execution, evidence gathering, and reporting. Collaborate across departments to implement secure and scalable IAM solutions. Evaluate and maintain systems and procedures to ensure best practices in access control. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system security. Support users and internal teams with access-related issues and requests. Identify or develop tools to monitor and manage risk. Participate in special projects and on-call duties, including disaster recovery and patching activities. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience implementing Identity Governance solutions using SailPoint. Strong understanding of IAM best practices from both security and business perspectives. Ability to work independently and proactively. Experience supporting compliance and audit-related activities. Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Technical Skills: Experience with server management and IAM system support. Understanding of networking, firewalls, proxies, and data center connectivity. Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP. Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, Ping Identity, Oracle Identity Manager, or similar. Familiarity with endpoint system integrations and administration. Experience with MFA and SSO technologies. Working knowledge of ticketing and workload management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management. Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL) are a plus but not required. Seniority level
