Salary Range : $114,280 - $169,303 Description
The Product Owner/Business Systems Analyst (PO/BSA) helps create and deliver high value, high quality, high performing solutions and provides operational and analytical support to LERETA Tax and Flood operations nationwide. The role works closely with organizational business partners to drive operational excellence. The PO/BSA is responsible for performing detailed requirement analysis, documenting processes, and coordinating user acceptance testing. The PO/BSA will be dedicated to an Agile work team to interface between the operations team and the delivery of new technology and products. The PO/BSA represents the business team in prioritizing the features for development, approving user stories, and ensuring clear communication flows. The individual will help shape and execute the product strategy that meets department goals, engage in business case development, and ensure adherence to the Agile Scrum process. Responsibilities Collaborates with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translates them into product requirements Defines the vision for the teams product Creates a product roadmap based on this vision Defines & communicates the overall vision, objectives, and goals to articulate the minimum viable product needs Creates, refines, socializes, and prioritizes the Product backlog Manages the product backlog and prioritizes them based on changing requirements Oversees all stages of product creation including design and development Enables delivery of Product Backlog by presenting backlog to team; creating, owning and refining well-formed user stories and artifacts that describe and detail new products, features and services; creating acceptance criteria with the team, and accepting stories as they are completed Develops quality business requirements documents, user stories, and testing materials Demonstrates effective communication with the ability to explain insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements Performs user acceptance testing Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and users Leads testing efforts Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner Works with client personnel to identify required changes Communicates needed changes to the development team Monitors and evaluates product progress at each stage of the process Works with the product team and end-users to deliver updates Participates in scrum meetings and product sprints Contributes to the maturity, performance, and growth of the Agile team Works daily with scrum teams to refine, groom, and accept stories and bugs for implementation Creates UAT test cases, organizes and facilitates UAT testing, tracks test results, and works with the scrum master and agile team to resolve issues Represents the team, when needed, to external stakeholders, leaders and other teams to ensure alignment and understanding progress of the team Partners with teams to build, prioritize and define workflows and requirements Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies
