We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Retail Customer Service Representative who is vital to the success of our retail operations. In this role, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide answers to their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Your ability to resolve customer concerns promptly will be crucial in ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. You will also stay informed about product features and uphold the quality and visual standards of our store. As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you'll play an essential role in achieving our customer service goals while meeting store sales targets. This position involves interacting with customers, including minors, accessing cash and payment methods, and managing personal information and merchandise. As such, a review of your criminal history will be conducted to help safeguard our customers and staff. The selected candidate will be required to work at stores within a 30-mile radius of our location at 7604 Transit Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221. Assist customers in-person and over the phone to identify their needs and suggest appropriate products. Build strong, trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions promptly and in accordance with store policies. Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintain accurate work orders and formulas. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products to fulfill customer specifications. Organize merchandise displays and restock shelves. Keep store equipment clean and operational. Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks. Help with deliveries as required. Maintain stock levels and ensure the assigned areas are visually appealing. Stay updated on all products and discuss available options with customers. Follow inventory control procedures efficiently. Propose ideas to enhance overall sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Legal authorization to work in the country without sponsorship now or in the future. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, you must have a meets expectations (3) rating on your last performance appraisal and completed all required eLearning courses. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED is preferred. At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Experience selling paint and related products is a plus. Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is desirable. Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish, is beneficial.
