Scrum Master

Responsibilities
Organizing and facilitating stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint planning to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing Assisting the team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition; identifying and removing impediments Preventing distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver on release goals, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution Manage JIRA board and backlog for sprint execution, guide and support the team in tracking tasks, progress, reporting, escalation, and metrics Ensure goals and tasks are clearly documented, keep Jira up to date and organized for the teams usage, support quality reviews of artifacts Coordinate large scope planning efforts with internal and Government management personnel Promote and ensure Scrum values and framework adherence including commitment, focus, openness, respect, transparency, and continuous improvement Required Skills And Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience An additional 5-7 years of experience or industry related certification in lieu of a degree is required Strong analytical and investigation skills Strong ability to explain intricate and complicated concepts and ideas Experience working in an IT environment Ability to deliver on-time, meaningful outcomes, while coordinating multiple assignments, maintaining a positive attitude, and providing exemplary customer service Proficient with Jira, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance Preferred Skills And Experience
