Assist County departments in the grants lifecycle, in coordination with GMI divisions. Research funding opportunities, prepare grant applications, and understand grant regulations. Manage award processing and setup, program implementation, reporting, federal sub awards, and grant closeout. May supervise staff. Direct the preparation and submittal of proposals and grant applications where applicable. Access or maintain specialized databases containing program-specific information to review information or generate reports. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public administration, education, human services, criminal justice or related field (as defined by the appointing authority at the time of recruitment). AND four years of professional-level experience in coordinating, monitoring, administering, or managing program or specialized work unit activities. Additional Information
This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules.
