The Business Systems Analyst at L3Harris ForceX serves as the Product Owner and as liaison between the customer and the development team. The BSA is responsible for setting the vision for the product, prioritizing and accepting work to ensure the vision is met, and communicating customer requirements and feature requests to the software development team. The BSA works with Systems Engineers, Solution Architects and software engineering teams to break customer requirements into work items and partners with Program Managers to track product delivery and maintain a Release Plan. ForceX BSAs are assigned to a program or programs and interface with customers, stakeholders and vendors. They have high-level knowledge of the software product and how it interfaces with the system, can support technical customer meetings, integration events, and ground/flight test events, and ensure an operational Software Integration Laboratory (SIL) is maintained to support iterative development and testing. The Senior Specialist level is a senior professional with experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, or significant related experience, and helps team members understand the integration of the software product on the SIL and leads software development activities.

Responsibilities

Develops product vision and strategy and communicates it with other BSAs, software development team members, customers and stakeholders Develops a product roadmap or release plan and prioritizes features to meet or exceed delivery schedules Serves as the Product Owner, translating customer requirements and communicating product vision, strategy and purpose to the team Tracks project deliveries, analyzes business metrics, and reports status of deliverables Uses strong communication skills to bridge knowledge gaps between team members and technical/non-technical stakeholders Maintains and prioritizes a healthy backlog using Agile Scrum practices Collaborates to build understanding of customer requirements Assists in writing and reviewing technical documentation Communicates with stakeholders at varying technical levels; coordinates with customers and contract officials and presents program status and requirements Maintains a proactive, can-do attitude and solves new problems Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent communication skills to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Good customer relations skills and ability to build relationships Effective time management Sound judgment and strong reasoning abilities Proficient grammatical skills Ability to prioritize and organize tasks Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance, which requires US citizenship Preferred Skills

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a changing environment Military experience is a plus Software development experience Ability to utilize multiple desktop publishing and still-image editing programs Strong presentation skills Understanding of engineering practices for solicitation of information and derivation of requirements Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in technology or business with 6 years minimum prior work experience Graduate degree with at least 4 years of prior related experience In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of related experience as a Business Analyst, Engineer or with DoD customers, hardware/software integration, or avionics installation/maintenance Proven background delivering quality requirements and completing deliverables Physical Demands

Sit for long periods; infrequent light physical effort Written and verbal communication Dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and mouse May require travel by automobile or airplane This is an on-site position Personal Protective Equipment
