Firmware Engineer Co-Op

Andover, MA . This position will last 6-8 months. We are looking for a positive, self-motivated, passionate individual with a strong desire to work in an exciting, fast-paced design environment to help us develop next generation technologies. What will you do?
Expand and modify existing firmware to meet design requirements Perform development (coding and/or testing) of a part of an embedded software solution whose specification and architecture are defined Participate in firmware design reviews with peers to gain knowledge on best practices Work with the formal verification team to define, document, analyze, perform and interpret developmental tests for new and/or modified products Firmware development using Integrated Development Environment (IDEs) Facilitate the generation of prototypes for testing Contribute to verification and validation test plans including test method and acceptance criteria Interpret test results and other data and synthesize data into technical communication for effective written and oral presentation Work and contribute as part of an agile development team Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field (Master's preferred) C or C++ coding skills Python coding skills Experience with GitHub Basic familiarity with Agile development concepts/Scrum Good written and oral communication Understanding of embedded systems hardware/electronics Linux experience Operating systems coursework Networking coursework (Wireshark experience a plus) Able to work from Andover, MA full-time starting January 2026.
