Overview

The Senior Paralegal supports the Employment Law Team by managing employment-related litigation and performing varied tasks to further the teams mission of employment compliance across the organization and within client groups. Responsibilities

Litigation and claims support: Manage and track employment-related lawsuits, charges, and claims from inception to resolution, coordinating with internal and external counsel. Conduce fact-gathering, implement litigation holds, collect and organize responsive documents and data, identify key witnesses, and participate in witness interviews. Update, maintain, and analyze data used to track employment-related matters across the organization, identifying trends and mitigation strategies. Review and revise discovery materials, pleadings, and related documents, supporting attorneys and company witnesses in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials. Create and maintain communications and template materials related to various litigation topics. Records Requests And Employment Related Subpoenas: Analyze and respond to third-party subpoenas and records requests, identifying and compiling relevant company documents and information. Advice And Counsel Support: Advise and partner with HR and business leaders on employment matters, including terminations, investigations, workplace accommodations, performance management, contingent workforce, restrictive covenants, RIFs, and reorganizations. Conduct legal research on employment law topics, providing practical, business-oriented recommendations. Create and present training content to internal stakeholders, prepare presentations, training materials, and legal documents as requested by in-house attorneys. Liaise with Senior Executives, business leaders, and stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and Employee Relations, maintaining records and supporting the Employment Law Team. Education

Bachelors degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution required. Experience

Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience required; employment law or class action experience is a plus. Experience in-house or at a large law firm supporting litigation or employment matters required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; familiarity with Westlaw or similar legal research tools preferred. Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative engagement and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment required. High attention to detail and sound business judgment required. BD prioritizes on-site collaboration to foster creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving. For most roles, a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week is expected to maintain our culture and operations. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements indicated in the job posting.
