About this Opportunity

The Product Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and capturing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and providing technical support to customers and supplier partners to a diverse range of industries such as Metals, Mining, Rubber, Power Generation, Energy, Wood Products, Automotive and Consumer Products. The position requires a solid understanding of assigned product to provide tailored solutions to support our customers. This position will support Bosch AT & MGE (framing, conveyance, MPS, tightening) , AMGS , and other framing/conveyance product lines. This role bridges sales, technical support, and project management , enabling local execution and freeing national resources.

The person will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Bosch Rexroth Assembly Technology (aluminum extrusion, conveyors, workstations, machine guarding) and Tightening Technology (nutrunners, spindles, controllers, systems) in the Northeast. This hybrid role blends sales, technical support, and project management , ensuring customers receive complete solutions from concept through production while leveraging our Wilmington production facility capabilities. Travel is required - approximately 1,500 miles plus a month.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the regional SME for Bosch AT and Tightening product lines.
  • Provide technical and design support for customer projects, including layouts, specifications, and CAD input.
  • Manage engineered framing, guarding, and conveyance projects through our production facility to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and deliver quotes, proposals, and technical documentation .
  • Guide customers and integrators on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting .
  • Leverage Bosch Tightening System Configurator to design and propose complete tightening solutions.
  • Coordinate with sales engineers, operations, and customer service to support project execution.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine positioning and capture opportunities.
  • Build and manage a local partner and installer network to scale delivery capacity.
  • Work closely with Bosch and internal teams to align regional execution with supplier strategy.
  • Provide technical and sales support.
  • Product responsibility for their Branch.
  • Execute plan created by both Sales and Product Manager.
  • Create or maintain strong relationships with regional vendors.
  • Strategize and plan with the Sales Team. Make sure you are a part of every salesman’s forecast.
  • Monitor Projects – Help move the Projects to the quoted phase.
  • Product and Application Targets for Marketing.
  • Find new markets.
  • Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new accounts.
  • Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year.
  • Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications.
  • Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market.
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Location

Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Wilmington, MA facility.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE

  • 1–5 years of experience in industrial automation, aluminum extrusion systems, conveyors, or tightening/fastening systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (preferred) for layouts and project concepting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand engineered-to-order systems.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and customer-facing skills .
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow into a senior SME role.
  • Proven track record in sales, especially in selling factory automation technical products or services.
  • Must have mechanical background, design exposure, and manufacturing knowledge.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial products.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong work ethic pursuing a high standard of excellence.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent customer relations/sales skills.
  • Industrial application problem solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, transporting items such as a laptop computer, printers, servers, paper, books, and small parts, driving an automobile, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. Must be able to move through customer sites, including warehouses, shipyards, oil field rigs, manufacturing facilities, and related machinery, etc. Work outside normal business hours is required.
