We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join our Corporate Office Team in College Point - Queens, NY. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for leading all financial functions including accounting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, risk management, and investor relations. This leader will play a critical role in shaping the company’s growth strategy, implementing scalable systems, and ensuring strong financial performance as we expand across existing and new markets.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Leadership
    • Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive long-term growth and profitability
    • Provide strategic financial insight to support new market entry, real estate expansion, and product innovation
    • Build financial models to guide decision-making and evaluate new opportunities
  • Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning
  • Monitor financial performance against goals
    • Provide clear reporting and actionable insights to leadership and investors
  • Drive cost optimization while supporting investments in growth
  • Accounting, Treasury & Compliance
    • Oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
    • Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and banking relationships
    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management practices
  • Scaling & Systems Implementation
    • Implement financial systems and processes that support a multi-state, multi-unit retail operation
    • Ensure operational efficiency across payroll, POS, supply chain, and store-level financial reporting
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Stakeholder & Investor Relations
    • Manage relationships with current and future investors, lenders, and external partners
    • Prepare and present financial updates to the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in retail, consumer goods, or multi-unit operations strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in scaling businesses, preferably in high-growth, multi-state expansion environments
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, cash flow management, and capital raising.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and hands-on environment

Pay Range: $200,000 - $225,000
