We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead our accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data while supporting the CFO in driving financial strategy and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of five accounting professionals.
- Oversee all aspects of general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Coordinate annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and process improvements.
- Support CFO with strategic financial initiatives and ad hoc analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
- CPA certification required.
- Prior experience in public accounting strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in a privately held or mid-market company environment is a plus.
