Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will become a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for the financial health, strategy, and operational efficiency of a scaling business.
The CFO drives financial strategy, capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, IT, and operational excellence in procurement, contracts, and inventory management.
This hands-on role oversees all fiscal functions while directly managing day-to-day accounting in the absence of a Controller. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to strengthen financial literacy, inform decision-making, and ensure sustainable financial stewardship.
- Lead financial strategy, capital planning, and investment decisions aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee accounting operations including month-end close, reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and asset management.
- Strengthen banking, audit, and regulatory relationships.
- Enhance systems, processes, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Build financial capability across the organization through training and coaching.
- Lead and develop Finance, Accounting, IT, Procurement, and Inventory teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CMA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, ideally in a mid-sized manufacturing environment with operational complexity.
- Proven success in both strategic and tactical roles, including month-end close, systems build-out, and SOP development.
- Technical competency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems, with experience integrating and optimizing reporting tools.
- Track record in performance improvement, change management, and building high-performing teams.
