The Corporate Controller will be a key leader within the {EMPLOYER-DESC} financial team, responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company, managing the finance staff, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports. This role is critical in providing senior management with information necessary for decision-making and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. Manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures. Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation. Develop financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting. Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Manage the budget process, collecting the inputs and comparing the company's actual performance with budget estimates. Oversee payroll, accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. Collaborate with external auditors and prepare for audits to ensure the compliance with all financial procedures and regulations. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to strategize and prioritize effectively. Strong leadership skills and experience managing a financial team.
