HR Business Partner (HRBP) | Talent Development & Organizational Effectiveness
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager for the Americas region to oversee financial operations, compliance, and reporting for our entities across North and South America. The ideal candidate must have strong cross-border financial acumen, a CPA qualification, and experience in both accounting and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). You will work closely with local teams, external tax advisors, and global headquarters to ensure financial integrity and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Compliance: Manage full-cycle accounting for Americas-based subsidiaries in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS and local regulations; Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and audits; Maintain compliance with all local tax and regulatory requirements.
- Tax Coordination & Review: Provide timely and accurate tax data to local tax advisors to support statutory tax filings; Conduct preliminary reviews of tax filings and coordinate corrections with external agents; Monitor transfer pricing compliance and related-party transactions.
- Project & Operational Finance: Control and review project expenses, reimbursements, and local purchases across regional subsidiaries; Monitor local financial performance through monthly variance analysis and reporting; Provide operational financial insights to support decision-making.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for the region; Support business planning and performance tracking across markets; Deliver key financial metrics and insights to senior leadership; Align local financial practices with global finance policies; Coordinate regional cash management, guarantee issuance, and FX exposure updates; Collaborate closely with the domestic finance team and global treasury.
- Leadership Support & Special Projects: Act as a trusted business partner to regional executives and project leaders; Support the regional CFO in strategic initiatives, M&A support, or system implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Masters degree preferred .
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required .
- Proven 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and FP&A roles; multinational experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS , and local taxation requirements across key American jurisdictions.
- Proven experience coordinating with external auditors and tax agents.
- High proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP), Excel, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-culturally in a fast-paced environment.
- Open-minded, proactive, and eager to drive continuous improvement across finance operations.
- Bilingual in Mandarin is a strong plus.
