The Director of Finance/Controller will oversee all financial operations, including planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and treasury management. The role involves working closely with senior management to develop financial strategies supporting sustainable growth.

Essential Functions
  • General Accounting: Oversee accounting functions such as accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements per GAAP, develop reporting systems, and provide timely financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
  • SSAE18/SOC 2 Management: Oversee SOC2/SSAE18 activities, communicate with cross-functional teams, and present operational recommendations.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow, banking activities, and optimize cash strategies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze data, develop models, and support strategic planning. Collaborate with departments to develop KPIs.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPR or CMA preferred.
  • At least 8 years of progressive finance experience, with 2+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, GAAP, and accounting software, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
