Overview

The Business Analysis Manager directly manages a team of Business Analysts, who are responsible for analysis, validation, and clear communication of the needs of the project stakeholders, customers, and end users. Additionally, the BA Manager is responsible for managing the intake of requests and issues from various business teams and, after technical work is completed, coordinating business review and acceptance of changes. This role works very closely with both business and technical leaders to ensure effective communication and handoffs across the different areas of expertise within the organization. Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr This range is provided by Producers National Corporation. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities Review and prioritize new requests and issues reported from business teams Assign requests to Business Analysts and provide support to BAs in finalizing requirements and preparing requests for handoff to technical resources Manage capacity and productivity of the Business Analyst team (4-5 employees) Participate in sprint planning to inform prioritization of requirements and work requests, and to facilitate ongoing communication between Business Analysts and technical teams Once technical work has been completed, coordinate user testing, acceptance, and sign-off of changes with business teams Facilitate effective communication between specialized and distinct functional areas of the organization Over time, improve the framework and structure for coordinating work requests between business and technical teams, especially as the size, complexity, and other needs of the organization evolve Develop key skills within the Business Analyst team, including: Root cause and gap analysis Business process mapping and documentation User story and business requirement definition and documentation Administrative and professional communication

Qualifications

At least 5 years experience in property and casualty insurance At least 3 years experience in business analysis Ability to lead and develop a team of analysts Strong analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Negotiation and conflict resolution skills Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies, waterfall and agile/scrum Knowledge of insurance industry
