Starting Salary Range:
The starting salary is between the minimum and midpoint of the range ($66,955.20 - $82,014.40). Candidates will start at the minimum of the range unless their skills, experience, education, or other factors exceed the qualifications for the position. Essential Job Functions Under direction form the Network Administrator, the Network Analyst is responsible for performing a range of network analyst activities that include performing network infrastructure support to maintain integrity, operability, availability, and/or security of the City's network infrastructure; performs related duties as required. Under direction, is responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing, and responding to matters related to the security of the City's computer network and information systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. A typical way to qualify is Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience and two (2) years' experience and responsibility in networking, TCP/IP protocol, Active Directory, Group policy, firewalls, and performing cybersecurity and/or information technology security duties. Licensure or Certification Requirements:
Current and valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable drivers abstract in order to meet criteria for insurability established by the City of Gahanna. Industry recognized certifications are preferred. Important Job Functions Why Gahanna?
