Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce & Certinia Developer to improve and enhance the Certinia and Salesforce platforms, taking ownership of programmatic requests: collaborating on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validating proposals, and delivering solutions. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement Certinia solutions on the Salesforce platform Create reports, charts, and dashboards to meet business needs Configure workflows, alerts and other push notifications Create custom code to extend functionality where out-of-the-box configurations are insufficient Integrate data from Salesforce/Certinia and other systems via APIs for consolidated reporting Customize modules for billing, revenue management, and professional services Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Lead meetings related to Salesforce/Certinia functionality and manage project/task lists to keep stakeholders informed Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Salesforce and Certinia applications Manage license subscriptions and overall Salesforce/Certinia contract relationships Develop unit and integration tests Perform data updates/migration using Data Loader, Workbench, and Data Import Wizard Create and schedule Tabular, Summary, Joined, and Matrix reports; manage access to report/dashboard folders Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and related technologies Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and secure Document technical solutions and processes for future reference Oversee user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups Provide user training and create training materials Communicate platform changes and updates to end users Other duties as assigned Qualifications
57 years of hands-on Salesforce development Experience with Certinia (FinancialForce), specifically FFA and PSA Hands-on Salesforce configuration with customization experience Experience managing Salesforce security (Profiles, Permission Sets, OWD, Role Hierarchy, Manual Sharing) Experience promoting and deploying code using ANT; knowledge of CI tools like GIT, Jenkins is a plus Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and data migration Java, HTML or CSS background is a strong preference Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (minimum) Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts Strong knowledge of Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, Flow, Apex, Triggers, APIs, Governor limits, Web Services, and Batch Jobs Ability to translate high-level requirements into technical specifications Knowledge of Salesforce architectural best practices Project management knowledge and ability to lead small to mid-sized projects or development efforts General understanding of accounting processes Ability to estimate development effort accurately Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Values and culture
