Your combination of people skills and software delivery expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. Were looking for an Agile Project Manager to execute Scrum methodologies for a product lifecycle. Guide teams in the Agile methodology, support team rules, facilitate the product team's progress toward team goals, lead and facilitate meetings, eliminate blockers, promote Agile quality practices, build a high performing team, coordinate with other teams, support ROM and level of estimate activities, and provide the team with feedback and means of improvement while serving as a resource to answer questions. Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. Help with maintenance and implementation of program monitoring tools and frameworks. Support business operations. Interface with delivery teams in support of data modernization. Responsibilities Coach and guide development teams to focus on sprint goals and progress programs toward objectives. Apply basic Agile and Scrum principles to resolve routine problems. Implement sustainable process improvements to help achieve Program Increment Objectives and Features. Collaborate with clients to deliver impactful solutions and support warfighter-related programs.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in DoD engineering and science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis. Experience as an Agile project manager serving multiple teams, providing tasking, and adjusting to shifting priorities. Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience performing Scrum duties (backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, PI planning). Knowledge of SAFe, Kanban, or Lean-Agile processes and their application to process improvement. Ability to facilitate and coach dispersed, cross-functional teams in a virtual environment. Ability to interpret complex interdependencies of product delivery and support the Product Owner with maintaining/backlogs. TS/SCI clearance and Bachelors degree.
Nice If You Have
10+ years of experience in DoD Program Management and Acquisition Management for an ACAT program. Experience with federal government, IC/DoD, or FEDSIM programs. Experience with Agile tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or DevSecOps. Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI). Strong leadership, communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
