THPRD is hiring Afterschool Program Leaders and Program Drivers for the THRIVE afterschool program, serving students in the Beaverton School District. This opportunity blends teamwork, creativity, and personal growth in a rewarding afterschool environment. Overview

Hiring Program Leaders and Drivers for Afterschool Programming. Are you a team player who thrives in collaborative environments? Flexible hours are available throughout the week. Locations Cedar Hills Recreation Center Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center Garden Home Recreation Center (and Chehalem Elementary) Tualatin Hills Athletic Center

Responsibilities

Assisting in the coordination, instruction, supervision, and leadership of enrichment activities Creating a welcoming, inclusive program environment that supports participant satisfaction Ensuring participant safety and providing basic first aid if needed

Program Details

Classification Status: THPRD is hiring for multiple roles with hours varying based on program needs. See Part-Time classifications for details. Part-Time Varible (PT): fewer than 20 hours per week; no more than 1,560 hours annually. Part-Time Benefits (PTB) Eligible: 20-29 hours per week year-round with benefits.

Application & Scheduling

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. This recruitment will be used to fill multiple openings, with positions starting in August 2025. The posting remains open until all positions are filled. Answer supplemental questions fully; THPRD evaluates work history and responses rather than requiring cover letters and resumes. Salary will be determined per pay equity analysis under Oregons Equal Pay Act. Work Schedule & Availability

All positions are flexibly staffed, Monday Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm on school days and 7:30am - 6:00pm on non-school days, August 26, 2025 to June 11, 2026. Please share your typical availability within that timeframe. Program Roles & Training

Van drivers may be eligible for part-time benefits. If you are 18 or older, you may be trained to be a van driver. Some questions related to location preference, prior experience, and eligibility will be part of the application. Qualifications & Screening

First Aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Age 18 or older; ability to enroll in the Child Care Licensing Divisions Central Background Registry if required Preference questions regarding work location, availability, and prior experience in afterschool settings Veterans preference information if applicable
