Modeling and Simulation Software Developer
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Developer to join our team in various locations across the United States. MTSI is expanding our mission modeling capability based on growing customer requirements in the National Defense sector and requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform a variety of software development tasks in the AFSIM modeling environments, including discrete event simulation, mission model operation, and post-processors of model data. Responsibilities Assist evaluation of proposed projects for feasibility and applicability to relevant mission areas and related activities. Provide technical information and analysis to recommend solutions and influence decisions. Distill and communicate technically complex material to senior decision makers. Be a self-starter who can execute development procedures on a demanding schedule with minimal supervision. Collaborate within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products valuable to the customer.
Qualifications
Candidate must have 10+ years of experience in the use of modeling and simulation software development frameworks. Experience in model/software development. Experience with C++, C#, R, Python, MATLAB, Mathematica, or Analytica. Basic knowledge of analytical methodologies and tools, especially as they apply to the AFSIM models. Proactive approach to problem solving, willingness to learn and apply new methods as required by the analysis approach. Self-starting, solution-focused, and able to work well in a team. Familiarity with analytical software packages, especially MATLAB (DESIRED). Experience in process analysis and following procedures to troubleshoot issues. Good people skills and ability to communicate effectively across a highly technical team.

Bachelors Degree.

Top Secret/SCI Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
