Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Developer to join our team across various locations in the United States. MTSI is expanding its mission modeling capabilities to meet growing customer requirements in the National Defense sector. The role involves performing software development tasks within the AFSIM modeling environment, including discrete event simulation, mission model operation, and post-processing of model data.
Your essential job functions will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in evaluating proposed projects for feasibility and applicability to relevant mission areas. Providing technical analysis and recommendations to influence decision-making. Communicating complex technical material to senior decision makers. Working independently to execute development procedures on demanding schedules. Collaborating within a team environment while contributing individual efforts to deliver valuable products. Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in modeling and simulation software development frameworks. Experience with model/software development and programming languages such as C++, C#, R, Python, MATLAB, Mathematica, or Analytica. Basic knowledge of analytical methodologies and tools, especially related to AFSIM models. Proactive problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new methods. Strong teamwork and communication skills, capable of working effectively with engineers and analysts. Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree. Clearance Requirements:
Top Secret/SCI Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required. Additional Information:
