Job Duties Develop overall work assignments and schedules for the programming team to achieve set targets and milestones, which would affect the overall project schedule. Analyze business requirements and develop functional and system design specifications for quality assurance reviews to ensure they meet architectural and other technical standards. Design prototypes of systems for proof-of-concept, if required, validate functional requirements and demonstrate that the designed system meets the overall business and technical requirements. Lead and supervise juniors to develop software codes and perform integrated system tests and regression tests, to ensure the quality and reliability of the end product. Deploy the final system for operational use by designing installation packages and validation procedures for effective rollout of the system. Develop and maintain the library of system documentations, which would affect ongoing maintainability of the programs and system. Supervise and assign tasks to subordinate programmers and contractors to maintain a highly productive team. Collaborate with vendors and user stakeholders to ensure completeness of integration of satellite systems with the Budgeting System. Assist to execute the testing, mock, cutover activities, and change management plan.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level with exposure in large scale Oracle EBS implementation. Hands-on experience in ERP implementation especially in Oracle Inventory (mandatory) and either Purchasing and Supply Chain or Financials modules, including General Ledger Sound technical knowledge in applications with an ability to design and develop custom extensions, conversions and interfaces in an Oracle R12 EBS environment Comprehensive understanding of Business Planning Processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate users needs into technical requirements with practical recommendations and innovative ideas Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
