innovation . How You\'ll Make an Impact Dudek is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 15 or more years of experience in water resources (surface water) engineering and project management. The Senior Project Manager independently manages complex water resources and stormwater engineering projects with broad scope, multiple stakeholders, and evolving requirements. This highly experienced professional will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, represent Dudek in fostering key client relationships, and drive revenue across diverse clients and sectors. The role also involves mentoring staff, ensuring effective project delivery, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management and Execution: Manage mid- to large-scale water resources and stormwater engineering projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Oversee project planning, execution, and financial performance, ensuring projects meet profitability targets. Execute project task management, including budgeting, invoicing, contract amendments, and QA/QC of technical deliverables. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and engineering best practices. Lead technical design efforts, feasibility studies, hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, floodplain studies, site grading, and storm drain design as applicable. Client and Partner Engagement

Build and maintain high-level client relationships across diverse sectors and geographies. Represent the company in client meetings, resource agency discussions, and public forums. Identify and pursue cross-selling and new business opportunities. Financial Performance and Contract Management

Track project budgets, forecast potential risks, and proactively manage contract scope and amendments. Approve invoices and ensure timely billing and budget reconciliation. Implement strategies to prevent scope creep and ensure projects stay on track financially. Team Leadership and Mentorship

Supervise and mentor staff, providing training on project management, technical skills, and industry best practices. Ensure effective delegation and delivery of high-quality work through QA/QC processes. Collaborate with other project managers to schedule and forecast project needs. Business Development and Industry Engagement

Lead proposals for high-profile projects and participate in strategic pursuits. Represent the company at professional organizations, conferences, and public speaking engagements. Stay current with trends and technical standards in water resources and stormwater engineering. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in engineering and project management, with focus on water resources/stormwater. California Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Strong technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analysis, stormwater BMP design, site grading, and/or storm drain design. Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead interdisciplinary teams, and deliver successful outcomes. Strong leadership, communication, and technical writing skills. Valid driver\'s license and active personal automobile liability insurance. Must possess a valid driver\'s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of California NPDES programs and stormwater BMP design. Experience with modeling/design software such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, FLO-2D, AutoCAD, or similar tools. Experience presenting to governing bodies and public agencies. Active participation in professional organizations and industry conferences. Compensation $160,000-$195,000 annually* Working Conditions

This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc. This job requires occasional project site visits, outdoors, which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, and moving vehicles and equipment. Physical Requirements

Working on a computer, sitting, or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting. Attending meetings, both in person and virtually, and speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
