Job Summary

The Executive Director for External Relations serves as a key leader within the Marketing and Communications division, as well as coordinating efforts with Government Relations and Public Policy. This position will provide strategic oversight for:

Helping lead external efforts to identify and target potential members/partners for the Advancing Kentucky Together Network ( AKTN ).

Providing leadership for efforts to work collaboratively with local governments and business leadership across the state

Oversee efforts of Director of Media and Strategic Relations to foster partnerships with local media, chambers of commerce as well as stronger community relationships that could help grow AKTN

This position reports to the Vice President for University Relations and Vice President for Business Strategy and Government Relations.
