General Summary: Under the Compute BU, the Director of Finance shares responsibility with the BU finance lead for the creation of GTM budgets, forecasting, and quarterly updates, as well as overseeing the implementation of the Compute GTM strategy from a finance perspective. The Director of Finance is also responsible for overseeing the implementation of key reporting tools to drive intelligent investments within the BU. They will work collaboratively across the BU, marketing, sales, and legal to better measure ROI of spend through various metrics and creation of automated reporting tools, helping Qualcomm grow into the next phase of its PC business.
Responsibilities
Develops annual GTM budgets through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and BU
Participates in the formulation of key GTM strategies and partners with the BU to ensure execution of strategies. Partners with other disciplines to develop and implement best practices to achieve the BU's goals. Recommends and implements enhancements to internal reports to better support management’s needs.
Identifies and measures KPIs for GTM investments and strategy – Intelligent Investing
Develops automated reporting tools for GTM investment management
Works cross-functionally with teams to balance investments across Marketing, OEM, and Channel
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
10+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience. (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
4+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
6+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
6+ years of PC industry experience
4+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $175,900.00 - $263,900.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
