As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. You’ll collaborate with your design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Partner with a cross-functional team to create and drive a user-centered product goal for teen-focused creation and connection experiences on YouTube, such as Creatables and GenAI Effects.
Execute the design process, from ideation and concept development to producing polished deliverables like mocks, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
Manage design work across multiple projects and build strong relationships with Product Managers and Engineering partners, ensuring clear communication of priorities and a collaborative approach to product development.
Drive product innovation by guiding the product roadmap through user testing and concept development.
Contribute to a creative and supportive UX culture that values critical feedback and strives for excellence in design.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
Experience with visual design in product or UX design environments.
Experience with prototyping, including leveraging GenAI tools and platforms.
Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
Experience in concepting and developing ideas for new features and effects.
