We are looking for highly qualified candidates for a contract working onsite supporting NRL in Washington, DC Chief Systems Engineer Minimum Years of Experience: 10 Security Clearance: TS/SCI position. Personnel must possess a final DoD granted TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility. Education: Minimum B.Sc., Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics. Experience/Requirements: Extensive experience in the development, maintenance, and operations of real time space, ground, test, avionics, telecommunication (terrestrial and space), and encryption/decryption hardware and software systems. Experience with system architecture and design of real-time data acquisition systems for complex spacecraft operations and support, simultaneous multiple spacecraft processing, flight system bus development, and other spacecraft related processing requirements such as integration and test and communication support systems. Experience with the design, development and maintenance of complex network infrastructures including emphasis on data security, information assurance, and cryptographic devices. Experience with software engineering and hardware integration expertise of ground I&T test software as well as I&T ground support equipment and development and use of embedded GSE software. Analyzes user\'s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements and specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternate approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops system architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Provides the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Designs hardware and software interfaces including human-machine interfaces that connect and inter-operate correctly and can accept new features. Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000
