Extensive experience in the development, maintenance, and operations of real-time space, ground, test, avionics, telecommunication (terrestrial and space), and encryption/decryption hardware and software systems. Design, architecture, and development of real-time data acquisition systems for complex spacecraft operations; support for multiple spacecraft processing; flight system bus development; integration, test, and communication support systems. Design, development, and maintenance of complex network infrastructures emphasizing data security, information assurance, and cryptographic devices. Software engineering and hardware integration for ground I&T test software and ground support equipment; development and use of embedded GSE software. Analyze user requirements, concepts of operations, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements and specifications; lead design and development activities. Guide users in formulating requirements, evaluate alternate approaches, conduct feasibility studies, and provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology. Develop system architecture and design documentation; guide system development and implementation planning through system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interact with Government stakeholders regarding Systems Engineering considerations and resolve issues or conflicts; ensure technical integrity of work and deliverables in the Systems Engineering domain. Design hardware and software interfaces, including human-machine interfaces, ensuring interoperability and extensibility for new features. Qualifications
Minimum Years of Experience: 10 Security Clearance: TS/SCI with final DoD TOP SECRET clearance eligibility Education: Minimum B.Sc. in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics Location: Washington, DC area (on-site) Employment Type
