Summary: Principal Engineers are responsible for evaluating, selecting, developing, and executing programs related to product and process characterization, continuous improvement, equipment design, specifications, and quality system implementation. They may oversee capital projects and work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure processes are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. Their expertise includes applying engineering principles to design and improve systems. They also execute management initiatives to meet Business Unit and pipeline objectives and ensure quality, safety, and sustainability. Responsibilities

Principal Applications Engineer I : Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver complex engineering projects on time and within budget; provide technical guidance to resolve challenging problems; mentor lower-level engineers; evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies; collaborate with other departments to align engineering with business objectives; ensure adherence to regulations, safety standards, and company policies; stay updated on industry trends; conduct process simulations and analyses to identify opportunities; own assigned projects and ensure timely delivery; implement process control strategies; conduct safety assessments and ensure EH&S compliance; create presentations for customers and industry forums; contribute to safety protocols; drive continuous improvement; maintain detailed records; collaborate with regulatory affairs; prepare technical reports for stakeholders. Principal Applications Engineer II : All duties of I; additional duties include collaborating with leadership to align technical initiatives with long-term strategy, managing a portfolio of projects, driving innovation, leading major projects, evaluating emerging technologies, driving efficiency, implementing advanced process control and automation, and optimizing processes. Principal Applications Engineer III : All duties of II; additional duties include defining engineering vision with leadership, guiding a technology roadmap for advanced capabilities, representing the company as an industry thought leader, leading innovation initiatives, mitigating engineering risks, forging strategic partnerships, aligning technical initiatives with business objectives, leading large-scale projects, and maintaining records of strategic initiatives and activities. Education & Credentials

Principal Applications Engineer I : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or PhD and 6+ years of relevant experience, or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Photo Lithography or in Advanced Semiconductor Packaging, preferred. Principal Applications Engineer II : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or PhD in Engineering or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Photo Lithography or in Advanced Semiconductor Packaging, preferred. Principal Applications Engineer III : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 14+ years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience, or PhD in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Photo Lithography or in Advanced Semiconductor Packaging, preferred. Benefits
