We are seeking a skilled Interface Integration Engineer with deep expertise in Epic IRIS and enterprise integration engines to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of healthcare data interfaces. Contract + Extensions Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle development of HL7, EDI, and other data interfaces using IRIS and related integration tools Collaborate with Epic application teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop test plans, and validate data accuracy Analyze, support, and maintain existing and planned interfaces with a focus on performance, efficiency, and compliance with standards Provide technical support for interface-related issues, ensuring data integrity across enterprise systems Actively contribute to project teams within Information Services, promoting collaboration and a positive team environment Independently manage all phases of interface analysis and development with minimal supervision Review upgrade documentation and assess integration impacts based on business requirements Escalate unresolved technical barriers to the Integration Manager to ensure timely resolution Mentor and assist team members to enhance responsiveness to business intelligence and integration needs Adhere to established IT methodologies, quality assurance protocols, and security standards Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience building interfaces using enterprise integration engines At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Epic IRIS Epic Bridges certification High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data migration from legacy EMRs into Epic during implementation projects Familiarity with healthcare data standards and interoperability best practices Seniority level
