Essential Duties and Performance Responsibilities:
work with partners in complex commercial litigation matters, including meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting research, writing motions, making court appearances, arguing motions, participating in trials, interviewing witnesses, drafting agreements, negotiating settlements, attending mediations, assisting with trials and arbitrations. Qualifications
Successful applicants will have: Excellent communication and writing skills. Strong work ethic and reliability a must. Exemplary client service skills with prompt response levels. 8-10 years of experience as a licensed attorney. Detail oriented with strong drafting and negotiating skills and the ability to communicate legal subject matter to non-attorneys. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, legal judgment and strategic thinking. Ability to manage workflow independently to meet firm deadlines while achieving business and risk management objectives. Must be licensed in Illinois and admitted to practice in both state and federal court. Compensation and Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience.
