Overview
The City of Stockton, CA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team, with a focus on enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, data integration, and IT best practices. The ideal candidate will be fluent in the latest technologies, including various AI tools, Power BI, Databricks, Azure, Copilot Studio, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with experience in the implementation and optimization of enterprise-grade IT systems. The Senior Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with developers, City department SMEs, and IT leadership to ensure our systems support strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and adapt to evolving technological needs. Experience with large-scale enterprise environments, IT security, and GIS is desirable. Base pay range
$96,925.00/yr - $124,449.00/yr Responsibilities
Analyze and improve computer systems; coordinate with vendors and technical teams; ensure seamless integration across platforms. Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues; enforce server security policies; optimize system performance. Maintain clear communication with user departments and support interdepartmental IT needs in a dynamic government environment. Collaborate with developers, city department SMEs, and IT leadership to align systems with strategic objectives. Document systems, analyze requirements, and support implementation and operation of enterprise-grade IT solutions. Education/Experience
Pattern I : Possession of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of work experience at a level equivalent to the Citys class of Systems Analyst II. Pattern II : Possession of an Associate of Arts degree or completion of sixty semester units or equivalent quarter hours from an accredited college or university with major coursework in pre-engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience in systems operation or administration, which has included four years at a level equivalent to the Citys class of Systems Analyst II. Pattern III : Possession of a high school diploma or GED and eight (8) years of experience in systems operation or administration, which has included four years at a level equivalent to the Citys class of Systems Analyst II.
