Overview

District Director- Long Island at The Bachrach Group. We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in a dynamic, fast-paced financial environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, scalable, and high-performing network that supports critical business operations. Youll work closely with the Network Manager and IT teams, ensuring continuous uptime and optimal performance across the firms network and voice systems. Key Responsibilities

Administer, design, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions). Provide 24x7 support and serve as Level 2/3 escalation for IT teams and IPC turret systems. Configure and optimize firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto) and manage VPNs, load balancers, and remote access solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve network performance using industry tools (e.g., SolarWinds). Collaborate on integration of network solutions with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure). Lead and support network, telephony, and data center projects, including moves/adds/changes. Maintain vendor relationships, telecom circuits, and market connectivity. Support Cisco Unified Communications, AV systems, and IPC turret environments. Develop documentation for network processes, configurations, and troubleshooting. Stay current on emerging technologies and security practices to enhance infrastructure resilience. Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in LAN/WAN/MAN management, preferably in financial services. Strong expertise with Cisco switching/routing (IOS XE, IOS XR, Nexus OS) and routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VPC). 7+ years with Cisco ASA/FTD and Palo Alto firewalls. 5+ years in VoIP/mixed TDM environments and supporting IPC turrets. Knowledge of VPNs, load balancers (Citrix NetScaler), and secure access solutions. Data center management experience, including cabling and infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting and project management skills with ability to work off-hours as needed. Excellent communication and customer service orientation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications

CCIE Voice, CCIE Routing & Switching, or related Cisco certifications. IPC Level 1 Certification or Cisco VoIP/Security/Data Center training. Hands-on experience with network automation tools. Experience supporting trading floor environments. Compensation

Base pay range: $155,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Additional compensation types: Annual Bonus Job Details
